Gong Pulu
Kajar Pot Gong
Have a look around; there are many treasures here from South East Asia.
Find Asian arts such as Balinese metal Gamelan xylophones particularly the melodic percussion instruments that can play the interlocking rhythms known as Kotekan and tuned to either the Pelog or the Slendro scales.
We carry Calung/Jublag, Gangsa/Pemade, Gender Rambat, Jegogan, Kantilan, Penyacah Kenyur, which all traditionally play their parts based on the main melody known as Pokok or Balungan. We carry Gong Pulu. Gong Pulu has two bars tuned a microtone apart and therefore produces what is known as Binaural beats.
It's also possible to discover Bamboo Suling Ring flutes, Bamboo Tingklik Xylophones, metal hanging gongs that play the gamelan's colotomic structure, specifically Gong Banci, Gong Klentong, Gong Kempur, and Gong Agung.
In your walk around our garden don't be surprised if you stumble across double headed Kendang drums, bowed Rebab spike fiddles, Ceng Ceng Batel and Kopyak hand cymbals, the latter of which are used in the marching gamelan Belaganjur.
And we have Kajar, Reyong and Trompong horizontally suspended pot gongs, as well as Gentorag Bell Rattles. Some of these instruments are used with the internationally famous Wayang Kulit shadow puppet plays, the Angklung Gamelan, the 20th century development of Gong Kebyar.
Just as infamous are the Baris warrior dance, the Barong lion dance, the young girl's Legong dance, the Keris blade dance and the Kechak monkey dance which is really more of a chant.
